Recipes : Slow Cooked Pinto Chicken with Corn and Quinoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (16oz) of chicken breast trimmed and cut into large chunks
  • 1 15oz can of cream style corn
  • 1 15 can of pinto beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 15 can of diced tomatoes
  • ½ tsp ground sage
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp dehydrated onion
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried cilantro
  • 1 cup (170g) uncooked Quinoa
Place all ingredients except the quinoa in a pot on low and go about 6 hours.

Half an hour before dinner, add the quinoa. It will absorb the remaining liquid.
